오상의 비오 신부님과 죄인 (4)
어느 날, 우리 주님은 오상의 비오(Padre Pio) 신부에게 나타나셔서 사람들의 죄에 대해, 그리고 그 죄로 인해 (주님이) 얼마나 고통을 당하는 지에 대해 불평하셨습니다. 예수께서는 그에게 말씀 하셨습니다. "내 아들아, 나의 고뇌가 단지 3시간 만 지속되었다고 생각하지 마라. 내가 가장 많이 행해 준 저 사람들의 죄 때문에 나는 세상 끝 날까지 고통스러울 것이다. 내가 고뇌하는 동안, 우리는 잠을 자지 않아야 한다. 내 영혼은 인간의 동정심 몇 방울을 찾는다. 그러나 슬프게도, 그들은 무관심의 무게라는 아래다가 나를 혼자 두고 간다."
예수님을 위로하고 악마로부터 영혼을 빼앗으려 노력하는 데 시간을 낭비하지 않도록 확고히 결의하십시오. 오상의 비오(Padre Pio) 신부님은 고해성사로 매일 상당히 많은 시간을 보냈습니다. 1918년에서 1923년까지 그는 고백을 하루에 15시간에서 19시간까지 들었습니다. 1940년대와 1950년대에는 하루에 약 8 시간을 고해성사로 보냈습니다.
1962년에는 83,035명의 여성과 19,837명의 남성이 비오 신부님에게 고해하기 위해 등록했는데 이는 하루 평균 약 273명입니다.
1967년 오상의 비오(Padre Pio)신부님은 약 15,000명의 여성과 10,000명의 남성을 고해성사를 주었습니다. 하루 평균 70명입니다.
비오 신부님은 훌륭한 고해가 새로운 생활, 열렬하고 거룩한 삶의 열쇠라는 것을 알았습니다. 고해는 영혼을 정화하고, 성체성사에서 완전하게 유익을 얻는 준비를 하는 성사이며, 따라서 천주님과의 관계를 깊게 합니다.

One day, Our Lord appeared to Padre Pio to complain about the sins of men and how much these cause him to suffer. Jesus said to him: “My son, do not believe that my agony lasted only three hours. No, I shall be in agony until the end of the world because of those for whom I have done the most. During my agony, my son, we must not sleep. My soul seeks a few drops of human pity. But alas, they leave me alone under the weight of indifference.”
Firmly resolute not to waste time in trying to console Jesus and snatch souls from the devil, Padre Pio spent a significant amount of time every day in the confessional. From 1918 to 1923 he heard confessions fifteen to nineteen hours a day. During the 40's and 50's about eight hours a day.
In 1962, 83.035 women and 19.837 men registered for confession with Padre Pio: an average of about 273 per day.
In 1967 Padre Pio confessed about 15.000 women and 10.000 men. An average of 70 people per day.
Padre Pio knew that a good confession was the key to a new life, a life of fervour and holiness. Confession is the sacrament that purifies the soul and makes it ready to benefit fully from the Holy Eucharist, thus deepening one’s relationship with God.
