The Bible has all the answers?

¡°I guess praying not enough. The answers are all in bible.¡±

¡°Prayer is not enough: indeed, one needs to know his CATECHISM well. Be careful about saying that all answers are in the Bible: a priest might be able to find an appropriate verse for each question, but that still presupposes the INTERPRETATION OF THE CHURCH, of the Fathers of the Church. We learn the true Faith from the true Church: in our catechism. Reading the Bible is good, under the guidance of the Fathers of the Church, under the guidance of the Church: NOT ¡°ALONE¡± as if one could be directly inspired by the Holy Ghost, bypassing the Church. The whole error of the Protestants is in that ¡°alone¡±, in their rejection of the Church. We should never imitate them.

Practically if you want to read the Bible, start with the four Gospels, read them from cover to cover several times; once you are familiar with these four Gospels, then go on with the Acts, and the epistles of St Paul (+St James, Peter, John and Jude): read them also several times, then re-read the whole New Testament¡¦ At the same time, do read lives of the Saints and writings of Saints (e.g. the Catechism of the Council of Trent, in which several saints cooperated).
